The Mental Illness and Substance Abuse (MISA) treatment team at Harford Belair Community Mental Health Center assists voluntary adult clients with co-morbid mental illness and alcohol/substance abuse problems in danger of relapse.

Our dual diagnosis service provides compassionate, specialized behavioral health services for individuals challenged by psychiatric illness and substance use problems. In our care, recovery is possible.

Services Offered

Mental Illness and Substance Abuse (MISA) services include recreational activities, group socialization, linkage to 12 STEP Group Support Systems, and group therapy for voluntary adults challenged by psychiatric illness and substance use problems.

We accept Medicaid and pre-approval by Value Options for our day program or outpatient group therapy.
