MISA -Mentally Ill Substance Abuser
WHO: Individuals who have a serious behavioral health disorder and a history of alcohol/substance abuse or addiction and who are in danger of relapse. Must be 18 or older and agree to voluntary participation.
WHAT: MISA is a dual diagnosis service that provides specialized behavioral health services for individuals challenged by psychiatric illness and substance use problems.

Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 8:15am to 2:30pm
Wednesday and Friday 8:15am to 12:45pm
Outpatient Program Group service: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday—10am
HOW: MISA’s services are individualized and based on a client’s needs assessment. Services include recreational activities, group socialization and linkage to 12 STEP Group Support Systems as well as therapy groups.
Medicaid and as per-approved by Value Options.
Services To Older Adults
WHO: Persons over 55 years old.
WHAT: All Harford-Belair Outpatient Services are delivered by Licensed Counselors, Social Workers, and Psychiatric Nurses under the supervision of the treating Psychiatrist. Therapists and Psychiatrists provide treatment for and management of a wide range of psychological conditions of older adults such as: clinical depression, fearfulness, memory loss and confusion.

Tuesday and Thursday 8:00am to 7:00pm
Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm
Saturday (appointments accommodated as needed)
HOW: A comprehensive geriatric assessment is followed by treatment based on an individually tailored care plan.
FEES: Harford-Belair accepts Maryland Medical Assistance, Medicare, Blue Cross Blue Shield and Maryland Public Mental Health Uninsured Eligibility.
