The Haven Psychiatric Rehabilitation Programs provide a multitude of services for those diagnosed with a severe and persistent mental illness. These services are designed to assist individuals in obtaining the maximum level of community functioning in a setting of their choice.

Fees

Harford-Belair works closely with clients to devise a fee that is appropriate for the individual. No one will be refused service because of an inability to pay. Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Medicare, Medical Assistance and most private insurance will provide reimbursement for services rendered.

WHO: Individuals who carry a diagnosis of severe and persistent mental illness who are at least 18 years of age.

WHY: Psychiatric Rehabilitation has proven through years of research to have a significant effect on decreasing hospitalizations and increasing a person's overall quality of life.

WHEN:

Mon, Tue, Thur 8:00am to 3:00pm

Wed, Fri 8:00am to 1:00pm

Saturdays 8:00am to 2:00pm

HOW: All Psycchiatric Rehabilitation Services are individualized and based upon a detailed needs assessment. All services are delivered by trained Psychiatric Rehabilitation Counselors who are supervised by Master's prepared clinicians. In most cases the services are ordered by the individuals Psychiatrist.

SPECIALIZED PROGRAMS:

Age Plus (Seniors PRP)- for individuals 55 or older who have a diagnosis of a severe and persistent mental illness. Provides an environment more suitable for individualized attention and training. Specialized Times; call for details

MISA (Mentally Ill Substance Abusers)- for individuals with a co-occurring drug addiction and a primary mental illness. Uses 12-STEP programming along with toxicology monitoring to help and individual achieve sobriety or maintain sobriety. Specialized Times; call for details

Rehabilitation Assessment, Psycho education, Skill Enhancement, Medication Awareness Training, Leisure Skills Training, Socialization Training, Supported Employment

RESIDENTIAL SERVICES/ACTIVITIES

Individualized Living Skills Assessment, Medication Oversight, Housing Placement, Cooking Skills Training, Laundry Skills Training, Shopping Skills Training, Behavior Monitoring, Mobility Training, 24 hour Crisis Response, In-home Support
