WHO: Individuals who have a
serious mental disorder and a history of alcohol/substance abuse or addiction and who are
in danger of relapse. Must be 18 or older and agree to voluntary participation.
WHAT: MISA is a dual diagnosis
service that provides specialized mental health services for individuals challenged by
psychiatric illness and substance abuse problems.

WHEN: Monday and Friday 8:30am to
3:00pm
Tuesday and Thursday 8:30am
to 4:00pm

HOW: MISA's services are
individualized and based on a client's needs assessment. Urinalysis and breathalyzers are
used for monitoring purposes. Services also include recreational activities, group therapy
and linkage to 12 STEP Group Support Systems.
FEES
Harford-Belair works closely with
clients to devise a fee that is appropriate for the individual.

Services To Older Adults

WHO: Persons over 55 years old.
WHAT: Master's Degree
Therapists and Geriatric Psychiatrists who are specifically trained to provide treatment
for and management of a wide range of psychological conditions of older adults such as:
clinical depression, fearfulness, memory loss and confusion.

WHEN: (By appointment) Monday
thru Friday
HOW: A comprehensive geriatric
assessment is followed by treatment based on an individually tailored care plan.
FEES
Harford-Belair works closely with
clients to devise a fee that is appropriate for the individual. No one will be refused
service because of an inability to pay. Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Medicare, Medical
Assistance and most private insurance will provide reimbursement for services rendered.
